Luther D. Jeke
Luther is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of iCampus Liberia, Liberia’s first shared innovation, co-working, and community space for organizations and individuals focusing on the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and inclusion in Liberia. He has over 12 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D) sector.
Luther is an alumnus of the Obama Foundation Leaders: Africa Program where he earned a Diploma in Leadership and the US State Department’s President Obama Emerging Global Leaders Initiative (EGLI) at the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab in Washington, DC where he also earned a diploma in Non-profit and Organizational Management with an emphasis in Tech for Development.
Luther earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis on Economics and has several professional certifications and diplomas in Organizational and Project Management, Information Technology, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Over the years, Luther has worked and consulted for entities in the USA and West Africa. These included Creative Associates Int’l in Washington, DC, iLab Liberia, Ushahidi Liberia, Starz Institute of Technology, Int’l Bank Liberia, Ltd, New Birth Empowerment Center, etc. At iCampus, he and his team have provided more than 100,000 Liberian youth, women and Persons with Disabilities and foreign nationals with the space, resources and new knowledge and skills to empower their businesses and communities.
Over the last 3 years, with support from UNDP Liberia and USAID Liberia, Luther has directly provided over 2.5 Million United States Dollars to 40 Liberian businesses aimed at helping to scale their ventures and create jobs.
Luther is passionate about efficiently using innovative technologies and collaborative spaces to empower local communities, Small-and-Medium-sized-enterprises, Governmental and Non-governmental organizations.
